'It looked like we were at Disneyland,' said Adam Villa. 'It was really dangerous because here at the commissary there are gas tanks, propane tanks. So, something could have caught on fire. I was really scared for the workers over here.'Villa witnessed the glimmering spectacle along West Central Avenue in Santa Ana, but the reverberations from the explosions thundrered throughout Orange County, prompting Irvine police to send out a message to assure their residents.
Debris rainded down in the Santa Ana industrial area, shattering the front windshield of Javier Castaneda's food truck, as well as four others. 'It's a good amount of money,' said Castaneda. 'Plus the food I had to throw away. It's wasteful.' When officers rushed to investigate the illegal fireworks show, everyone involved scattered and disappeared. Santa Ana police made no arrests.
