Tens of thousands of women in Iceland, including the prime minister, are on Tuesday set to take part in the European nation's first full-day women's strike in 48 years.
"On October 24, all women in Iceland, including immigrant women, are encouraged to stop work, both paid and unpaid," event organizers"This year, we strike for the whole day, just as women did in 1975.
