While this is true, companies should also be willing to hire new college grads with little or no experience because in fact, most degree courses prepare individuals for the careers they pursue.
Employers also need to offer job training and promote based on talent, ability and work rather than degree. I have seen it in several jobs over time that a degree is chosen over the ability to actually do a great job.

With due respect to the degree-holders, there are a lot of people who are natural in their talents and potentials who are failed to be noticed by others because they lack school experience but rich in practical knowhow!

How about intelligence and good old know how. A degree doesn’t guarantee the know what they are doing and certainly doesn’t have any promise of diversity and flexibility. Some of the dumbest people I know have PhD’s!
