are without a home for their final two games of the 2022-23 season after the team says the International Exposition Center decided not to host two games in March. The Crunch’s first two home games this season were played in the I-X Center on Jan. 28-29. Two other home games are scheduled at the Soccer Sportsplex in North Olmsted, three are on the road, and the final two games were to be played at the center on Saturday and Sunday, March 18-19.
It’s a busy time for the I-X Center, which has six events scheduled between now and when the games were scheduled in mid-March, including the 10-dayA representative for the I-X Center released a short statement regarding the situation. Many of the tickets purchased for games are bought within a couple of weeks of the dates, so “other than the season-ticket holders and a few other stragglers we didn’t sell a whole lot for those dates yet, which ended up working out in our favor,” Ruscitto said. “Obviously, we just shut them down for the time being until we can figure this out.”
