In 2002, when my son was just 10 months old, I fainted. I ended up in the emergency room, where I was told my potassium level was low and I was dehydrated. I was kept for several hours and was sent home.
So when I found out, it was devastating. My husband and I are not from this country — I came here from Turkey in 1978 and became a citizen five years later — but we had no support system here, no family. And my husband traveled a lot for work. So I was home with a 5-year-old and an infant, with my husband away for weeks at a time. It was really a struggle. And we didn’t have the funds to hire help, either.
I had to have an ultrasound first to determine how far along I was. I remembered, it hadn’t quite been a year since I’d been having the ultrasounds with my son so I was very familiar with the process. When the technician started saying, “Oh, here’s the heartbeat, here’s the head,” I just started crying. She instantly stopped.
We had the abortion at a private clinic outside of Boston. It was a quiet building, and there were no protestors. It was a very matter-of-fact thing. I remember very well I was one of the older people there. I had my son at age 40. So at that point I was 41 years old. While waiting for the abortion, everybody else was much younger than me. I was feeling very upset and very conscious of what I was losing because I had two children at home — and one was a little baby.
We couldn’t afford our 4th either as I would be out of work for 6 weeks (no parental leave in 1973). My husband suggested abortion. I refused just as I refused to work in the abortion clinic at the hospital where I worked. But I still believe it is a woman’s choice! No one else!
This literally makes me sick to my stomach. How do you look your other kids in the eye and tell them you killed their little brother or sister, because of money. God, this ruined my morning!!!
please adopt.. give the gift of life to a couple who are more than ready..
Oh so you never heard of birth control

Naval Officer Says She Made the Compassionate Choice: 'Abortion Meant Our Child Didn't Have to Suffer'Juliette Ruff is an active duty naval officer stationed in Japan. After suffering two miscarriages, she was thrilled to be pregnant again. At 14 weeks, tests showed the baby had Patau syndrome, or Trisomy 13, a chromosomal abnormality that causes organ deformities. Ninety percent of infants with the syndrome do not survive past one year. Juliette and her husband had to make the difficult choice of carrying to term with the knowledge the baby was likely to live a few painful days or weeks, or getting an abortion. The abortion was not covered by the insurance provided by the armed forces. AbortionIsMurder Instead she allowed the child to suffocate and die from loss of oxygen. I’ve seen this exact process and her ‘compassion’ obviously was told to her as what actually happens. PrayForPureAngel 🙏🏻💐 Curious why you’re tweeting about abortion today.
