I Tried Charlotte Tilbury’s Highly Anticipated New Mascara

completes theI was lucky enough to preview the mascara before the big release, and I have to say, it's worth the hype. If you desire long, separated lashes, the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes is definitely the mascara for you. It has a natural-yet-dramatic vibe. What I mean by that is the mascara is not like falsies in a tube; it amazingly accentuates your natural lashes while still looking like they're your own. It's an incredible everyday mascara.

When I first held the weighty tube in my hand, I fully expected a wand topped with oversized bristles inside akin to, say, the. Instead, I twisted open the cap to reveal a brush I've never seen before. Bristles aren't arranged around the circumference like a typical barrel-style mascara brush. This one only has two parallel rows of silicone bristles, which start off teeny tiny at the tip and gradually get bigger, on either side of the wand with flat sections between them.

The flat part of the brush is designed to load up your lashes with just the right amount of pigment with one swipe. Then, you comb it through with the bristles for an even coating. Sometimes, I prefer to press the bristled side against the root of my lashes and twirl the brush as I swipe to towards the ends.
