Huntsville is the best place to live in United States, according to US News & World Report

Alabama’s largest city climbed to the top of the ratings after being rated No. 3 in 2021.that considers such factors as job market, housing affordability, quality of life, desirability and net migration ratings, according to the media company.

“People moving across the country today are putting more emphasis on affordability and quality of life than on the job market, which in many ways takes a back seat as remote work options have become more standard.” “Though the cost of living in Huntsville is higher than the state average, residents tend to pay less to live here than those who live in other major metro areas around the country,” U.S. News said of Huntsville.

The average annual salary in Huntsville, according to U.S. News, is $58,730 annually – slightly ahead of the national average annual salary of $56,310.Huntsville’s schools were also rated higher than similarly sized metro areas while its violent crime and property crime rates were lower than the national rate.
