Paul Gilbert Anchondo was two months old when his parents died shielding him from a shooter at an El Paso, Texas, Walmart on August 3, 2019. Over the weekend, the toddler turned 1, CNN affiliate KVIA reported, and hundreds of residents drove in a parade to celebrate the boy. They wanted to remind him"he's not by himself," Gilbert Anchondo, the baby's grandfather, told the news station.
And the shooter shot Andre, and the bullets went through Andre and hit Jordan," Misti Jamrowski, Jordan Anchondo's mom, told CNN at the time. 5-year-old girl who lost her parents in El Paso massacre asks if she'll be shot nextAnd while it was relatives and friends who began putting together the idea for the parade, as more community members found out about it, they wanted to help as well, participants said.
Ughhhh this is a nice story but it hurts being reminded of the other story. So sad and infuriating to think about.

The Batman story

It still sickens me watching Trump use this baby as a photo op, after his racist rhetoric was used as impetus by the mass murderer that killed his parents! He isn't normal! There's a utterly depraved sociopath running our country. Trump is bathed in death!
Great job El Paso!! Good people!!
God bless this beautiful soul.
WriterChickNJ Bless his heart. This is what community looks like.

This is beautiful. Hope it becomes a tradition that united them for decades
Trump has those people's blood on his hands.
