I was in HongKong when it was a thriving, mostly free city. Xi and the Chinese Communist are more and more like the Hitler and his followers.

Hongkongers are not afraid Hongkongers want freedom and democracy

While HK's situation draws more and more attention, the free world shd re-evaluate the threat of CCPChina. Her expansion of influence will surely make u pay if u choose to ignore.

HKers will do the best for their freedom

Given these HKers not assaulting tourists from mainland China in the street, I support their democracy.

Amazing! Hongkongers never give up!

see, still free

you so-called journalist even don't know what HK «democracy» is in real, i give you a tip metropoly never wants «dirty Chinees» ruled themselve, they even haven't universal voting or independent courts. so apply your efforts on criticism of your own government shoting protesters.

HongKongers never give up! We shall fight till the end, including within the establishment! YouCantStopUs

HK is so different from the Mainland, in terms of belief of freedom, democracy, human rights, rule of law, etc...HKers wish to safeguard these values which Mainlanders never understand...yet it’s a tough task under the giant country machine StandWithHongKong

That shows enough they still have their freedom, right?

Nothing is impossible! A firm fighting spirit and belief has been the most important point in the HongKong movements since 9 June 2019. NationalSecurityLaw

Hong Kong's situation isn't that much bad if compared to Indian occupied Kashmir. Yet the British and US governments never see.

For some reason the Catalonianans did not get this support for exercising their democratic right. They were beat down, prosecuted, jailed and the world media remained silent............ If it is China doing it. We attack. But we remain quiet about our own...

Passed 500k voters at 6:30pm, well done HongKongers

Frankly speaking 'China Is Unstoppable' Now.... Democracy is just an eye wash for the world--western Sponsored Democracy (dollers) will not work this time...Don't waste time

As an American, I support the people of Hong Kong. I’ve been to HK more than once, and have realized it felt free there because back then China was not imposing its will on people. The fact that China has reneged on its promise to Brits shows how ruthless and vile China is.

Hongkongers have shown the world that they won't back down even though the Orwellian regime try to silence the people by arbitrary law. Hongkongers will surely fight on.

The new Hong Kong: Disappearing books, illegal words and arrests over blank white paperLess than two weeks under a new national security law enacted by Beijing, Hong Kong residents already feel a curtain of control falling over the city's realms of speech and thought. But twitter has words that can’t be used as well. United States has disappearing history books. Yikes. Let’s see if Lebron James will make a stand for Hong Kong. He promotes China, that slaves, and murders people by the millions. And the NBA, will bow to them as well. Instead they want to tell us there is white privilege. They are weak!! Sounds like the and nytimes and liberal media's tactics exactly. Leftists hate America
