I refuse to engage in a tradition that involves more chores for me.
Wonderful sentiment but my kid has been asking how many days until the elf arrives for the last 2 months. While it definitely will give parents a much needed break, it also gives kids a sense of normalcy in this crazy unpredictable year. 😢
Not enough has been taken from the kids this year, we should also kill the magic of Christmas?
Even had to move the elf to grandma’s home last year (for a sleep over prior to Christmas); then the elf mysteriously appeared back at their home.🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🌲
