Math is everywhere. Kids look to see whose milk glass is the fullest. Who has the bigger cookie and who stays in the restroom the longest. Just point out the math in every thing. How many steps to the kitchen to the door of their classroom. How much is spent on lunch-- add it up
In this day and age Math and other basic subjects should be taught through hands on learning, doing tasks that make them tangible so that students can understand the why of what they’re doing, Measuring plant growth, making food, measuring rainfall, etc can all be ways to help
