Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always promises to be an exciting return to the roots of a beloved franchise, but apparently will do so with a minimal amount of the series' signature camp and levity. Timed to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the original Power Rangers series, the new film brings back beloved characters, and even some of the actors who play them.
Although the current audience and kids could still watch it, it's a much deeper, more dramatic story. It was pretty easy to walk that fine line. What this show doesn't have is all the cheesy comic comedy moments that the original series had. It's all very heavy and serious for the most part. Composing For Adults Helped Create Power Rangers' Loyal Fanbase For many who grew up in the 1990s, the words Mighty Morphin Power Rangers come with a healthy dose of nostalgia. One of the first things about the show likely to come to mind is also Wasserman's beloved theme, which not only gave the world the phrase "Go go Power Rangers", but also paired it with furious electric guitar.
