How Kim Kardashian and Allison Statter's Childhood Friendship Inspired Their New Makeup Collection

on a beauty line versus Statter, Kardashian West stresses Statter is like a sister to her — albeit a behind-the-scenes sister. Statter may not be in the limelight, but KKW says she's just as in the know as her sisters. As the cofounder of Blended Strategy Group, which provides celebrity and influencer marketing and brand public relations to its clients, "she definitely knows the business inside and out," Kardashian West explains.

Statter decided to finally step onto the center stage with her best friend after being low-key and taking time to build her career because she trusts KKW Beauty. "It's different from a lot of other beauty companies that are doing collabs," she says. Why? Kardashian West went over to Statter's house to seehow she does her makeup. From there, Kardashian West infused her expertise and knowledge of demand in the makeup market to create the collection, Statter explains.
