There are some major differences between Avatar: The Last Airbender’s animated series and new live-action show.

has officially arrived. It’s been a long time coming: The show, set in an Asian-inspired fantasy world shaped by the ability to “bend” the natural elements, has spawned a sequel series, comic books, and a high level of interest in additional stories set in the same universe.

Naturally, the show had to leave a lot of the fun, superfluous, episodic side quests on the cutting-room floor. Die-hardthat Team Avatar plays mediator between while crossing a canyon; the firemaster Jeong Jeong, who plays a vital role inwho gives them information on the siblings’ missing father.
