The Democratic presidential candidates all have robust climate action agendas. The differences lie in how far, how fast and how much to spend.

for climate action that belies his brand of “incremental” progressivism. It doesn’t go as far as some of his rivals, but the Biden vision is hardly incremental.

Biden recognizes that the Obama plans were ambitious but also that merely picking up where the last Democratic administration left off would not fully address the urgent warnings of climate scientists. “On Day One, Biden will sign a series of new executive orders with unprecedented reach that go well beyond the Obama-Biden administration platform and put us on the right track,” the candidate’s plan vows.Former New York Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg’s environmental agenda, unlike those of many of his opponents, does not advocate for a ban on fracking and would establish a moratorium on, instead of completely ban, all new fossil fuel leases on federal land.

Lie to the American people

It would be nice to have a ClimateDebate to find out. *One* question in last Dem debate about the ClimateCrisis, & it was really about trade. The DNC and TomPerez changed the rules to let Bloomberg in; they can change the rules for a climate debate.

I don’t want to hear about combatting something beyond human control. I want to hear how we can deal with the impacts. New water and power systems etc.

“ why worry about climate change if the rest of the world like India and China aren’t” Because it’s the right thing to do. And india and China are saying the same thing about us. everyone keeps using this point & nothing will change. We need to lead the way for the world.

Dear LA Times, got a great idea ... Why not do an article on the denial of climate change by Republicans and quote all the insane non-science theories they've been circulating. Humor section? Crisis section? Both?

Anyone who wants to fight climate change will never do enough, for now everyone promises but with poor results and facts.
