MARYSVILLE, Ohio — People in a central Ohio town are trying to figure out what’s going on after thousands of dollars were found in the restrooms of a theater and a fast food restaurant in less than a week.that $25,000 was discovered hidden April 27 in the restroom of the Avalon Theatre. Five days later, $12,000 was found in the restroom of a KFC,
Police say a worker at the theater found the money after noticing someone “acting suspiciously” the night before, WBNS reports. Both the theater worker and the KFC worker notified police after finding the money.
