I am convinced that Barr blackmailed Garland on his way out. it’s the only logical explanation for why a U.S. Attorney General has chosen to do NOTHING against the most corrupt President in American history.
He needs to resign asap
Tough or weak! It’s that simple. Crimes were committed by many in Congress and in the White House. To allow anyone to pass without being held accountable, at the highest level, would be a crime. These people create and enact our United States Laws.
Garland will let Trump skate
Garland may be focusing on the corruption in the DOJ. Barr and trump definitely committed obstruction of justice when they tried to use the DOJ for their own gain. Seems like employees there are ready to sing.
Methinks he's not going to do anything to Trump. Why? Not sure, but it's not political. So far, Garland's 'legacy' is in the tank. DOJ has been going too soft on the sentences of 1/6 traitors/domestic terrorists. Anyone with intent to disrupt Congress should get at least 5 years.
More concerned about the state of the country, and its impact on the globe than I am about an individual's legacy. What happens to other democracies? To people all over the world. Accountability is neccessary now.
