Throughout Game of Thrones, there were multiple times when fans complained that the series was too dark, keeping them from being able to see what was actually going on. The third episode in the final season,"The Long Night," was the worst of the bunch, and many were furious they couldn't tell what was happening during an incredibly important battle. On Sunday night, House of the Dragon joined the darkness party and delivered some hard-to-see scenes of its own.
One fan took to Twitter during the episode to say they"can't see a damn thing" on House of the Dragon. They certainly aren't alone. Another fan said that the episode"seems good," but that they wished more of the budget was spent on lighting so they"could actually see anything." House of the Dragon is literally the DARKEST show I’ve ever watched. I cannot see SHIT. pic.twitter.com/OmYjRwioOP
"What is going on," asked one House of the Dragon fan on Twitter. Another hopped on to ask other fans"who is talking" during a specific scene, because they weren't able to tell.
It looked great on my 50'
As far as I remember, that already happen in the same franchise.
My OLED tv looked great
Had no issue.
Yup
Yup! Last week’s episode was too dark too
I didn't have a hard time seeing anything. Maybe they need glasses?
Your tvs settings suck. Mine was fine.
I dont watch the show, but hasn't GOTs always had scenes where you could barely see anything.
Buy an oled. Life is short.
The episode is great but yup it’s dark as shhht. But you can tell they filmed during day and made it darker in the editing room
The problem is that they shoot scenes during the day and add a filter so it looks like night. The result is horrible. You can definitely see what’s happening, but the lighting is off
Good cinematographers borrow. Great cinematographers steal.
They should get better sight.
They should buy one of those
Why did you post this article above an empty black rectangle?
