WASHINGTON — The House of Representatives will hold a moment of silence Monday morning to honor the life of the late congressman and civil rights icon John Lewis.

"Today, the Georgia delegation, under the leadership of the dean of the delegation, Congressman Sanford Bishop, will honor John with a moment of silence and a bereavement resolution," Pelosi announced in a letter to all House members Monday morning.
