New activist campaign puts impeachment pressure on House DemocratsA liberal activist group is ramping up pressure on Democratic congressional leaders with a new campaign to begin impeachment proceedings against President Trump. For what again, I lost track... 1/2: Impeachment only works if both the House and Senate agree that a president is unfit serve office. There are three branches of government. The Judicial Branch has yet to weigh in. Then subpoenas will be honored. Testimony given. Good, I as a Republican voted Democrat in 2018 because I wanted oversight. I’m beyond tired of the lack of spine & weakness the Democrats have shown regarding this issue. Trump & GOP are outmaneuvering them. D’s need to hire PR firm & work on messaging.

Liberal activist group seeks to pressure House Democrats into impeaching TrumpThe growing number of calls for impeachment from activist groups could put the Democratic Party in a more politically difficult situation, with leadership concerned that such a divisive process could place Democrats in swing districts in peril come 2020. Someone needs to. They are ignoring their responsibilities. Actually, what has happened in the last week should be enough for Pelosi to decide to go ahead with the impeachment process. Notice that outside groups did not have to pressure the GOP into impeaching Clinton or investigating emails, Benghazi, Fast & Furious or IRS. Let’s face facts, Dems are not good with political power, they flinch in the face of hardball politics & bring slingshots to gun fights.
