Here are three downtown Salt Lake City options.Whether your tastes lean toward a coursed dinner with drinks, followed by a live performance at Eccles Theatre, Ballet West or Utah Symphony, or a more casual bite before a Jazz game or concert, the city of salt is your proverbial oyster. Ehhh it's pretty sparse pickings. Mostly because while Salt Lake is building a lot of apartment and condo buildings, they are demolishing the businesses and entertainment areas that once made it a focal point. Recent storms impact Great Salt Lake's water levelsIn trying to save the Great Salt Lake, there is a long way to go. However, finally, there is a little bit of a reason to smile. Let it go. Just let it go. It is great news but shows how important rain/snow are and how little what we have done could change it. Your article earlier about forest managment to save water was interesting. Still it’s a math problem. ~13.5 million acre feet is a lot of water. Flushing less won’t do it The lake was at record lows in 1963. By 1983 it was flooding over. Give it time. It will be back with a vengeance.
