HONG KONG - Hong Kong’s chief secretary, Matthew Cheung, said on Tuesday he was disappointed with recent protest violence after a period of relative calm, as the Asian financial hub geared up for more anti-government demonstrations in coming days.
His comments came after the city’s leader, Chief Executive Carrie Lam, met Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday. “The ... government should make continuous efforts to bring the violence and chaos to an end in accordance with the law and restore order”. Stop violence? How about they (Beijing) honor the agreement that leaves Hong Kong alone for 99 years. It’s not HK that’s the problem; just the party member officials that Beijing puts in charge there. Frankly i will never see HK accepting a communist government, in my lifetime.

This Carrie Lam must make sure that the Peking Chinese do NOY organise any more protests praising the police. Disinformation and manufacturing of public opinions are not acceptable. We Hongkongers are not stupid and we see through this straight away. Protect freedom of speech!
The Lam robot has been re-programmed by her Beijing masters and will now return to Hong Kong to work with Mr. Cheung to solve those deep rooted problems. A good start would be to hold Beijing to its agreement of Hong Kong autonomy. Of course that’s not what Beijing has in mind.
