Realizing this a sensitive comparison, but Hollywood pandering to a nation with questionable views isn’t new. Didn’t Hollywood pander to the Nazi Germany censor board during the Great Depression / pre WW2 so as to not lose that export market? In the end, Hollywood is a business.
