This comes after last week, when 117 principals were told they could be fired if there's no improvement. That's nearly half of the district's principals., the names of the educators on the list range from those with years of experience to those who were newly hired by Miles. A second assessment is happening in the coming weeks, and those on the list must achieve higher scores in order to keep their jobs. The lowest scoring 10% of principals will automatically be removed, according to Miles.
