Second cases are rare, but the numbers appear to be ticking up.

, the answer is more than a little murky. “You really need to have a cohort of people who are well followed and tested every time they have symptoms,” says Caroline Quach-Thanh, an infectious diseases specialist at CHU Sainte-Justine, a pediatric hospital at the University of Montreal.

, scientists report in a preliminary study posted May 3 at medRxiv.org . Quach-Thanh has seen an even smaller rate in her own study of health care workers first infected between March and September of 2020. Those data are still unpublished, but she points out that most of the people in her study were vaccinated. “A natural infection with three doses of vaccines protects better than just a natural infection,” she says.

When you get reinfected, you might [have symptoms] like a cold, or even sometimes a cough, and a little bit of a fever, but you usually don’t progress to complications as much as you would with your first infection — if you’re vaccinated.: I think that’s unknown, but it’s being studied.

Natural immunity. You don't need a vaccine to have immunity. Glad to know Moderna and Pfizer contribute to science news.

Strange how I was never vaccinated and didn't have to deal with any of the symptoms or complications when infected.

'Science' 'News' or...

The risk from the most recent variants is significantly higher for those that have been vaccinated and even higher for those who received boosters. This 'Science News' does not align with what is really happening. Check out where the US ranks in death per population. Bottom 10%.

The Covid news has gone to the dogs lately.

If you're vaccinated?

long covid paranoia tweets in three two one...

mainly the v'd....

That's really upsetting. Sometimes, just couldn't understand why I would be re-infected.

So please stop revealing dressing and silly engagements.

Let nature sort it out, this virus is probably just going to keep mutating into lesser forms that do next to no damage just so it could survive.

the virus will mutate again and again evolving like any living thing

Won't matter to people who don't know how viruses and vaccines work and why it's important for as many people as possible to be vaccinated.

Imagine making a fool of yourself on national tv, shilling for international pharma conglomerate’s “vaccines”, only to keep getting the virus you were supposedly vaccinated against. At what point do they admit they got literally everything wrong?

People who are vaccinated are getting COVID again and again….hmmmm

You were warned. 😆

Maybe they could make one that works. Maybe they could make one like they advertised it would be. Tweaking it, with no long term testing. It’s a “shot” in the dark. People have to be out of their minds to trust them.
