They noted that student loan borrowers were already struggling before the pandemic and recession, and that “many borrowers already owed more than they originally borrowed.” Around 20% of federal student loan borrowers are delinquent or in default.A diverse coalition of over 325 organizations — including civil rights groups, consumers rights organizations, and labor unions — have called on President Biden to cancel student loan debt.
Professional associations including the American Academy of Social Work & Social Welfare , American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education, American Association of University Professors , American Association of University Women , and the American Psychological Association.

I don’t have a problem with that. As long as all of us that were denied any type of assistance or loans and therefore have no college education, get that same money deposited in out bank accounts.
Cancelling student debt does nothing unless you fix the issues of how we got there in the first place.
