Adam Driver and Margot Robbie are about as A-list as you get right now. This would be a big jump from DC where Robbie has played Harley Quinn for three movies, now playing an essential Marvel hero instead. Reed Richards has probably been the most debated role of all these among fans, and again, we’d have an interesting switch from Driver moving from Disney’s Star Wars as Kylo Ren to Disney’s Marvel as Mr. Fantastic....
Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at Fairmont Century Plaza on February 26, 2023 in Los Angeles, California. Paul Mescal is probably the name you don’t know on this list, but you’re about to. He did a fantastic job in the series Normal People with Daisy Edgar-Jones, which is where I first saw him. He landed an Oscar nomination for his role in Aftersun. He’s about to be dramatically elevated even further with his alleged casting in Ridley Scott’s Gladiator 2 as the nephew of Commodus, now grown.
Again, this is all insider reports and none of this is confirmed, certainly not by Marvel. But it’s a very believable cast and loads of different insiders have all claimed a similar line-up. Naturally, it will not be what every fan wants to see but that’s always going to be the case with casting cases like this.
