Man accused of flying from New Jersey to Jacksonville to attack man over online gaming dispute to appear in court– It will be another roaster on Wednesday, with temperatures soaring into the mid to upper 90s inland. The coast won’t be much cooler, with temperatures in the low 90s and a weak sea breeze. It will feel even hotter than that, though, with heat indices climbing into the 105-112-degree range in the afternoon.
That’s why there’s a Heat Advisory in effect for everyone except along the trail ridge and Highway 301 where storms arrive earlier in the afternoon. There’s a 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms, especially across the eastern parts of the First Coast. These storms could move inland and bring heavy rain and gusty wind before fading out around 8 p.m.
The rest of the week will be hot and humid, with daily afternoon storms. There will be above normal highs in the mid-90s with lows staying in the mid-70s.After covering the weather from every corner of Florida and doing marine research in the Gulf, Mark Collins settled in Jacksonville to forecast weather for The First Coast.
