Health officials said vaccinations have kept some people from getting critically ill, and has helped keep them out of the hospital.

The vaccine “still provides a great deal of protection against severe disease and against hospitalization,” Kamal said. “And that’s especially true if you’ve got the booster, so we’re encouraging everybody eligible to get the booster so that they have the maximum level of protection for them and their families.”Adult inpatient beds occupied: 672Percent of inpatient beds used: 100%ICU beds occupied: 100Percent of ICU beds used by confirmed and suspected COVID-19 patients: 12.
