Vertical Entertainment has acquired the U.S. distribution rights to the upcoming crime thriller titled He Went That Way.

as a teenage serial killer. The film had its world premiere at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival, and is currently slated for an exclusive theatrical release early next year.“In 1964 along Route 66, a 19-year-old serial killer Bobby finds himself needing a ride, but is devoid of options,” reads the synopsis .

He Went That Way was directed by Australian filmmaker Jeffrey Darling in his feature-length directorial debut. Unfortunately, this film also serves as his last after passing away at the age of 60 in March 2022, due to a surfing accident in Sydney. Written by Evan M. Wiener, the film is based on the true story of celebrity animal trainer Dave Pitts. Joining Elordi are Zachary Quinto, Patrick J. Adams, Troy Evans, Alexandra Doke, Erin Moore, Nicolette Doke, and more.

The film is executive produced by Elordi, Quinto, Phil Hunt, Compton Ross, Ananyaa Shah, Medha Jaishankar, Lawrence August, Richard Broder and Lisa Broder. Producers are Marc Benardout, Hugh Broder, James Harris, Jeremy L Kotin, and Mark Lane, with Sean Bagley as the cinematogrpher and Adam Wills as the editor.Maggie Dela Paz has been writing about the movie and TV industry for more than four years now.
