A woman fatally shot her husband early Saturday after he allegedly told her he was in love with another woman, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies from the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office responded around 2:20 a.m. to a weapons disturbance at the 23000 block of Buttress Root Drive and found a man inside a home with multiple gunshot wounds, authorities said. The 51-year-old wife was taken into custody by Precinct 4 deputies after she told authorities she shot him, Constable Mark Herman said. She is currently at the Harris County Jail, where charges of murder are expected to be filed by the Harris County District Attorney's Office, according to HCSO.
