No shit. The guy who started the petition knew the season wouldn't be remade; like it or not, it was just a way for him and other fans to voice their displeasure.

They believe cause season 8 got so many views it was a success. Everyone waited 2 fucken years just to be let down by that fucked storyline

Yeah, I see their point of view on this. No matter how much everyone hates it, they ended it how they wanted and the petition seems a little entitled to me.

DavidAmoyal Season 8 was such utter garbage that the way I see it, Game of Thrones ended on a cliffhanger at season 7. Season 8 does not exsist.

I think he’s saying the right thing. But I really hope showrunners of the sequel do consider the petition. It wasn’t the ending that people had a problem it was how season 8 got us there. Please ensure the prequel puts substance before shock and spectacle!!

And I'm not seriously considering watching your prequels because I know the story ends so badly.
