Masks give added protection, not immunity. In a dust storm, would you cover your face? Does it keep all dust particles out? No. Does it still help? Yes. Assume everyone is presymptomatic. That additional layer along with physical distancing will help open up the economy later.
Then they can maybe or not get the virus. I'm not taking the chance that I'm a systematic. Spreading it without knowing it. I don't want it either. So maybe it will thin the heard. That's a personal choice. Don't want to wear one, don't.
