In many parts of the country, streets are emptier than ever. Here's what that means for women runners.

“With less people out and about, I’m less visible on my runs, making me more vulnerable when I’m running alone,” she said. “I’m not giving up running, and I’ll do it solo to keep others safe, but I also need to feel safe.” “Before, I would feel like I could knock on someone’s door or run into a convenience store if something were to happen,” says Madeleine Delaney, a 35-year-old white woman who works as a product manager in Media, Pennsylvania and abandoned her early-morning group runs to comply with social distancing measures. “Now, there are a lot less cars, and I don’t know if anyone would open the door for me for fear of infection. And I don’t want to dart into a store or coffee shop either.

True I felt it But I kept on running I took hours where there would be more people or more cars If something happened I would also let my family know that I would go for a long run
