A New York state appeals court ruled Thursday that the criminal trial of Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein must remain in Manhattan.
In August, a lawyer for Mr. Weinstein asked the appeals court to move the trial, possibly upstate to Albany County or to Long Island’s Suffolk County, saying a New York City jury couldn’t fairly evaluate the case.
