Harry Potter actor Jessie Cave is weighing in on co-star Miriam Margolyes' controversial comments about adult fans of the franchise. During an appearance at Dream It Con, Cave was asked her thoughts about Margolyes' comments. Margolyes had previously commented that she was"worried" about adult Harry Potter fans and that they"should be over that by now".
Cave appeared in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2. "I worry about Harry Potter fans because they should be over that by now," Margolyes said."It was 25 years ago, and it's for children. I think it's for children."
"They get stuck in it. I do Cameos, and people say, 'We're having a Harry Potter-themed wedding, and I think, 'Gosh, what's their first night of fun going to be?' I can't even think about it. No," she said before adding,"Harry Potter is wonderful. I'm very grateful to it.""I'm not unhappy about it. I just think that it's for children, and if your balls have dropped, then it's time to forget about it.
