Harrisburg’s Shawn Lee Jr. earns offer from major in-state program

But his recruitment at the next level likely comes for his skills as a defensive back, and he just picked up another high Division I offer on Friday, with Pitt extending an opportunity to the 5-10 Lee. Lee Jr., whose father Shawn Sr. played safety at Penn State, holds offers from Iowa State, Pitt, UConn, Akron and Buffalo.

He threw for 26 touchdowns to just five interceptions last season, while rushing for 1451 yards and nine touchdowns, also picking off four passes on defense, earning 6A All-State honors from Pa.
