Kamala Harris says the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade is part of a long legacy of the U.S. 'trying to claim ownership over human bodies.'

, but at least 26 Republican-led states are expected to ban or heavily restrict access to the procedure."The statement has been made that the government has a right to come in your home and tell you as a woman and as a family what you should do with your body," Harris told the audience.

"We have to recognize we're a nation that was founded on certain principles that are … grounded in the concept of freedom and liberty," she added. "We also know we've had a history in this country of government trying to claim ownership over human bodies, and we had supposedly evolved from that time and that way of thinking."

"So this is very problematic on so many levels, the impact that it is going to have on women without means.""This is a serious matter and it requires all of us to speak up, to speak out and to be active," Harris said.

The Democrats lost their slaves at the end of the Civil War...now they're importing millions of new ones (in all but name) across the Southern Border. Why doesn't someone ask her about the NEW SLAVERY the Biden Administration is promoting?

In today's world there's way to many thing to use to stop pregnancy. Yet most women don't use them. That's the real reason for abortions. Won't it be easier to just use a birth control method ? You know what men are like. It's mommy s baby ,daddy's maybe.

She's not black and not a slave. A abortion is the results of bad decisions by women who don't use birth control. Slavery was way different. The women didn't join willingly. There's nothing in common with the two. Black slaves didn't get abortions.

You mean like vaccine mandates!

michael75724102 What’s next take our votes away?

Like vaccine mandates

Hey, Kamala: Slavery happened because elites in power decided a group of people were less than human so they then had the right to own and kill Africans. Today we have a group of elites who see unborn babies as less than human, and you actively fight for the right to kill them.

Now do Covid vaccine mandates

She's sooo tired and boorish.

Awkward.
