A large rental-apartment landlord with offices in the U.S. and Israel has purchased a portfolio of 13,243 units primarily in the Sunbelt in a deal that values them at $1.85 billion, including debt. Harbor Group International LLC said the apartments it is buying from Los Angeles-based Aragon Holdings were located in 36 properties in Texas, Colorado, Arizona, Missouri, Georgia and three other states. The two and three-story buildings, which target middle-class renters, are more than 95% occupied and charge average monthly rents...
