Josh Hawley and Roger Marshall to return money it previously donated to them, as a growing number of companies pull political donations for Republican members of Congress involved in challenging Congress’ certification of President-elect Joe Biden’s win after the Capitol attack last week. As a result, Hallmark said it has requested Hawley and Marshall return all campaign contributions made through its PAC. Hallmark’s PAC, HALLPAC, donated $5,000 to Marshall and $3,000 to Hawley during the 2020 election cycle. that it has initiated a review of its political donations to make sure it is supporting candidates “who share our values and meet our contribution guidelines.” Since Sunday, over 10 major corporations—including Facebook, Microsoft and Mastercard—have announced that they are altering or reviewing their political donations as a result of the violence of last week.
