Sad he was a great ball player and a great man

Rest In Peace.

I saw him play in Montréal and Brooklyn. A giant among men. Courage and quality shone like a halo over his head. His class and contribution will never be matched. I saw him a few years ago in the stands at a Blue Jays game. Spoke briefly. Still in awe. An icon. Rest in Peace

😢⚾️🙏

He made it to big diamond in the sky. RIP Frank

MadisonSiriusXM My prayer and thoughts are with the family. May you find strength and encouragement in all that Mr. Robinson meant to you. Blesseth are they that mourn. For they shall be comforted.

Great player. 10th all time in home runs, two time league MVP, triple-crown winner, world series MVP, Gold Glove winner. A true four tool player.

'Pioneer' for being black

I hate hearing this news. Robinson was a great player and a class act. Cincinnati made a huge mistake trading Robinson or he would have been part of the Big Red Machine. RIP to one of baseballs greats!

A class act. RIPMrRobinson

Forget it, Jake: If Chinatown is a metaphor for anything, it’s AmericaNew L.A. Times columnist Frank Shyong revisits the movie “Chinatown,” saying the real Chinatown is a place of hope, not cynicism — and a rich metaphor for this vibrant, multiethnic city. Now do Koreatown. I wish America was isolated and ethnically homogeneous.
