Gym rats have a safe haven amid the growing coronavirus pandemic -- a lot of their go-to facilities don't seem anywhere near to shutting their doors. They will, however, do a few more wipe-downs to put people at ease.
An employee at TriFit in Santa Monica tells TMZ ... their gym has replaced a few small bottles of hand sanitizer with 4 big ones, placing one in each locker room and two in the main gym area. They've also provided more hand wipes and paper towels with the hope members use them to wipe machines down. TriFit's also encouraging folks to wash their hands, etc.Equinox is doing something similar, except it sounds like the burden of cleaning falls on the staff.
So who is right?
Just fuck the employees right, they’re totally not at risk. Being face to face with EVERYONE who walks in and cleaning up after EVERYONE.

The gym I use has always been very clean, there's always multiple employees walking around disinfecting and cleaning (esp in the locker rooms) and Pool. There are multiple sanitizing stations on the 1st and 2nd floors. So, I can still go in good confidence. LAFitness

Yeah I think history has taught us many times that people can't handle responsibility and will do what's easy.
Suspended my membership for a month. Getting up at 5 AM and running while everyone else is sleeping. Finding a new routine isn’t so bad.

Spray and wipe, with nasty towels, does not work. That need to use product with proper kill time.
In Norway all gyms( i think) are closed for 2 weeks.. you can workout at home it is not that difficult
