As a Canadian, I’ll never forgot the shock I felt on the day of Sandy Hook. Now? I barely notice this news on my Twitter feed. Of course I still feel sadness for the victims and their families. But the shock is completely gone, this is just what happens in the USA

I work in school in Denver, and I spend quite a lot of time with students outside during recess and other activities. Every time, I look around at vehicles and pedestrians and ask myself 'Are they gonna shoot us this time?!'. It is nerve racking and crazy. Stop the gun craziness.
