Birmingham police were dispatched just after 10 p.m. Saturday I-59 near the First Avenue North exit ramp.
The slain man was pronounced dead on the scene. The second male victim sustained non-life-threatening injures.The victims’ vehicle came to a stop between the interstate and the 8500 block of First Avenue South.
