After surviving on one meal a day, Juan de León Gutiérrez left his drought-stricken village in eastern Guatemala and set on a journey to the United States. He just wanted to earn $13 for his family to buy corn and salt.
Juan, 16, died last week at a Texas children's hospital after he was taken to a shelter for unaccompanied minors, said his family and Marta Larra, a spokeswoman with the Guatemala Foreign Ministry. He is the third Guatemalan child to die in US custody in the past five months."Juan was good, Juan was humble," his mother Tránsito Gutiérrez said."He was a good son.
It's a sad story I feel sorry for the family.but for the story writer why did they wait to mention that he had had a headache 4 days while traveling until the last two paragraphs of the article. CNN it's s*** for media.

Very heartbreaking however, unless this issue is addressed in the countries of origin we will continue to have tragedies like this. Let’s focus on stabilizing their native countries, and stop scapegoating the US every time something unfortunate happens.
No parent should lose a child, no parent should drag their children 1000 of miles intending to break laws. The collateral damage of misguided choices are the children in rare instances. The dems encouraged the exodus of people knowing the US was unable to manage these numbers.
