Guardians Season Came Down To One-Run Games

Everyone loves a tight, high-leverage, nail-biter that comes down to the last pitch. It keeps everything exciting and it's how we get walk-off wins that create incredible memories.fans got their fair share of these types of contests during the 2023 season but are probably hoping for a few more comfortable wins in 2024.

Unfortunately for the Guardians, they weren't always on the winning side of these close games. They struggled to seal the deal late in the final innings and were only 27-31 in one-run contests. This includes leading the American League with 34 blown saves and being walked off 12 times by their opponent throughout the season.
