Group objects to plans for a 'straight pride' parade in one California city

An LGBTQ+ organization in California is condemning a"Straight Pride Parade" that has been proposed to take place in the city of Modesto.

MoPRIDE is a nonprofit that works to educate the public in tolerance and respect for all people within the LGBT community. “We’re accused of being haters and negative things,” Don J. Grundmann, founder and director of the National Straight Pride Coalition, told ABC News. “We are having a celebration of life.”

Why is LGBTQ+ attacking heterosexuals based on their sexual orientation? Isn’t that illegal? Isn’t it a hate crime?

Does the LGBTQ know there’s only man and a woman the rest is mental issue!

i guess the most important point is that what the LGBT2 stands for is actually contrary to 99 percent of world religions..paying for each initiative they want with tax payers money contradicts religious freedoms and rights.

Explain why only one group of people can celebrate their sexuality, but others can’t? If they are asking for equality, act equal! Equality doesn’t mean having rights others don’t! I don’t get it!!!

Or everyone could just go there and be supportive and show love to their obvioushomophobic message and show them their ignorance can be met with love as a lesson.

It’s ironic because both sides of this argument need to calm their wokeness down 350%

what is wrong with a straight pride parade. straight people have rights and they are proud to be hertosexual..this is government money and i am sick and tired of it all going to the LGBT2 who are not inclusive and do not share.

This headline is super irresponsible. Also celebrating the “unborn, western civilization, and Christianity” sounds like it’s less about “”straight pride”” and more like a different kind of pride. Will there be tiki torches?

To all the people hating on the LGBTQ organization above: FUCK YOU. This event is more then “straight pride”. The organization who started it is very anti-lgbt and considers me EVIL. Plus, straight pride makes no sense. Straight cisgender folk never had to fight for equal rights.
