We don’t have groundhog access but the three of us, Charlie Abernathy, grandson Lane Marler, and your scribe, have our three February indicators of an early spring’s arrival.We do have access to groundhog; Lane makes delicious sausage from groundhog meat that’ll make you holler, “hidey-ho!”
One of our three indicators, wild onions bursting through the ground, sprouting beside much of Boll Weevil Circle and several secret locations, can make novice forecasters believe spring has sprung. People are also reading… Our second indicator also sprouts from the ground and is typically spotted third.
