Actor Isaiah Washington announced his retirement from the business on Twitter, saying he was going to travel the country before it 'falls into socialism.'

Absolutely correct. The problem is most Americans, right and left, do not understand what socialism is. Venezuela started out with elected socialism under Hugo Chavez. Then is quickly changed to a totalitarian regime. We are headed there.

Another has-been for the GOP.

Another person brainwashed by the conservative media who want you to believe that liberals will lead us into socialism and then communism. It's all BS scare tactics used by the right. In the meantime, the right is pushing this country towards an authoritarian regime.

I wonder if he can define socialism? And Trump trade is as close to socialism as anything the Democrats have proposed. I only mention Trump because Washington endorsed Trump in the 2020 election.
