Gregory A. Clark: 'Religion is repugnant, ridiculous and dishonest. The repugnant deserves rejection. The ridiculous deserves ridicule. The dishonest deserves to be called out.'

Work continues on the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints during its renovation in Salt Lake City on Friday, April 2, 2021.Gordon Monson

Monson writes, “In the Good Book ... as spoken by the Son of Man himself, it reads: ‘Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself’.” But here’s what Monson omits: Right after “that Jesus fella” first commanded “Love thy neighbor” , he also commanded this:• Adulterers? Kill them. This loving deity also drowned every baby on earth and slaughtered an entire nation of firstborns. With “love” like that, who needs hate?

Oh no! Say it isn't so. My bald head isn't going to be restored to its paridisical glory? Making Monson a sometimes religion reporter is a dumb idea. Just stick to writing a crappy sport commentary column which everyone is free to ignore.

As this so called 'loving' person spews hate themselves. Yikes..

Gregory A. Clark seems full of hatred. He calls others out for what he is -- repugnant, ridiculous, and dishonest.

Nothing deserves ridicule more than religion.

“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” - John Adams You may wish to find a different system of government under which to be governed, Greg.

Lmfao. You and the news go find something to do. No one cares about your opinion

After watching the way Christians have acted the last decade or two, the next time you’ll find me in a church, I’ll be in a casket. Frankly, I hope not even then.

Exactly. Look at what is being promoted by them. It’s possible any of it is true, but how likely is it? Is it really worth rearranging an entire life around? If it is true, there would be no desperate reason to lie defending it, which happens regularly at the highest levels.
